Ask these before Navigate-to-SaaS.
- 01 · Needs What the institution actually requires, written without Banner module names. If the list describes the incumbent, you will buy the same thing in the cloud.
- 02 · Data Named owners, not "the Registrar's office." What a mock conversion would actually test, and what "clean enough" means before Ellucian starts the clock.
- 03 · Process Workarounds that live in reports, shadow systems, and the one person who still knows Banner 8. Decide what dies, what is rebuilt as configuration, and what never belonged in the SIS.
- 04 · People Decision rights when SaaS configuration and campus practice disagree. Backfill, cabinet time, and who can freeze scope while the vendor's timeline is running.
